Hello! I am back, finally. I apologize for my absence. I've been so caught up in finals, the holiday, work, blah, blah, blah. I am back though and I am back with a bang! Lots of reviews, a 2010 favorites/wrap up!

I found this series earlier this year and fell madly in love with it. I couldn't be happier with the third installment. I still love Ben. Dear, dear Ben. He pisses me off sometimes because, well, let's face it; he's a boy, and they can be idiots sometimes. Ben is stubborn and has too much pride at times, but he still makes me swoon! :)

I am so intrigued by Camelia's gift. The idea of psychometry is so interesting and I would love to know more about this subject. I haven't ever read a series quite like this one. It's original, romantic, scary, and thrilling.

I liked that Adam appeared more in this book, but he just doesn't do it for me. He sounds incredibly good looking, but I don't think he is a threat for Ben. There is so much mystery in this book that I'm fearful I'll give something important away without meaning too. I will say that in between chapters there are awesome crossword puzzles that I tried to figure out! I figured out most the words, but not all. Although, you'll know the answers at the end.

I can't wait for the next book. I know it will be as thrilling as the previous. I recommend this series for anyone who is looking for something interesting and new!

This week's question: What do you do besides reading/reviewing as a hobby?
Well reading is my main hobby, but I love to shop for pretty much anything. Clothes, purses, shoes! I also love to watch movies. I really can't think of any other hobbies.

"What very popular and hyped book in the blogosphere did you NOT enjoy and how did you feel about posting your review?"
Oh geeze, umm.... I mostly trust the blogs I read, but I did not like Eragon. That wasn't really too hyped up, but I know several bloggers who love that series. I can't even finish the book. I like The Summer I Turned Pretty series, but not as much as many of my blogging friends, and the same goes for the Vampire Academy series. I think those receive too much praise, but that is my opinion. And, I read them anyway.

Fixing Delilah by Sarah Ockler

Hello! I know it has been forever. I am so sorry about that. I was having computer troubles and then I really needed a break from the Internet. I have barely touched my computer recently. I have been reading though, as always. So, lots and lots of reviews to come.

Once again Sarah Ockler has amazed me. I fell head over heals in love with her debut, Twenty Boy Summer. Now, I'm even more in love with Fixing Delilah. The writing flows beautifully on every page. It's almost impossible to leave Delilah's story. I recently got a job at Barnes and Noble. I was fortunate enough to be able to shelve this book. I was so excited holding them in my hands. I bought one right when I got off work!

I really connected with Delilah. She is impulsive and stubborn, kind of like me. I act or speak before I think sometimes, just as Delilah does in this novel. I understand where she is coming from. I get why she just wanted to forget. I understood why she used Finn. I understood her. Delilah was so real for me. I could feel  her there next to me, letting me into her life, letting me know her secrets. She is an amazing character. She is perfectly built with gestures, flaws, and human emotions. I also adore her name.

Every character in the novel is astounding. They each add more to the story pushing you further along, making you love them more. As soon as Patrick turned his hat around, I fell in love. I wanted to gossip with Emily over lattes. I wanted Rachel to read my cards and give me insight. I wanted to pull Claire away from her desk. I wished I could have known Stephanie and Nana.

This novel is filled with family drama, love, compassion, anger, and friendship. I will read this novel over and over again. I hope to read more and more of Sarah Ockler's words in the future.

What are your feelings on losing followers? Have you ever stopped following blogs?

I lost my first follower this week. I have to admit that it made me sad, but I lve blogging and I'd keep doing it if I didn't have any followers. Of course I'd just be rambling to myself, but that's okay. I don't like to lose followers, but you can't keep every single one of them. I have only stopped following one blog and that is only because I didn't speak the language he posts in most the time. The first time I saw his blog, his posts were in English, but after that they were all in Portugese. And, well I don't speak nor can I read Portugese. So, I stopped following his blog. That is the only blogged I have stopped following so far.

As many of you know this month is National Novel Writing Month. I am participating this year. It is my first year participating. My reviews may slow down this month because I will be focusing on NaNo, but I am hoping to still continue with a review Monday-Thursday and Blog Hop/Follow Friday on Fridays. I'm ahead in my posting schedule so hoping I can keep it this way during this month, but if I fall behind or I don't respond as quickly. I apologize in advance for any of that. As soon as I started to hear about this book awhile ago through the blogging world I knew that I absolutely had to get my hands on as soon as possible. So, on the day it came out, I was at my local Barnes and Noble at 10:00 AM (when they open). Nightshade hadn’t even been stocked yet, but I got my copy. I’m sure the cashier thought I was insane. I was so giddy and happy. I had this beautiful, lovely book in my hand. I mean the gorgeous, sparkly purple cover with calla lilies. And hand cut pages? Oh gosh, this book is so, so beautiful.


The inside, the words, were just as beautiful as the outside. I was captivated in this story from page one. Cremer jumped right into action. I loved it. The wolves sound insanely beautiful. I love how they weren’t referred to as werewolves, but as Guardians. This novel is a new interesting twist on wolves and their keepers. Cremer has created a new world that readers will adore and yearn for after it’s over.

I have never had trouble picking between two love interests in books. I am always on one side. I always make my distinction from the beginning and hardly ever change. But, I could not decide which boy I liked more. I mean we have Shay, cute, quirky, honest Shay. And, as you all know, I’m a hopeless romantic, and this is the choice for the hopeless romantics. Forbidden love? I am a sucker for forbidden love. I fell in love with him over and over again. Every time he turned one side of his mouth up in a smile I swooned for the boy I drew up in my mind. But, then there is Ren. Oh dear Lord, Ren. He makes me blush! He’s so flippin’ sexy and irresistible. And, he cares for Calla. He really loves her and would do anything for her, so much so that it makes my heart ache. I have a soft spot for Ren. I also have high hopes for him in the coming novels.

Calla is a badass. She is such a strong warrior, but a beautiful girl. I feel so bad for her. These two sexy boys vying for her attention. Okay, maybe I don’t feel that bad for her. Although, I know she is confused about who to choose. Love or loyalty? I respect all of her decisions and thought processes. She is a strong character with an amazing voice.

Cremer created a wonderful world filled with a cast of interested characters. I can’t wait for the next installment in this trilogy. This is one of my favorite series.
