I was laughing throughout this entire book. I loved Evie. If my sister was a paranormal container she would so be Evie. My sister is a police offer and she wanted all her gear to be pink. Her gun, taser, cuffs, everything. And, that is what Evie has a hot-pink taser with rhinestones named Tasey. I felt like I was reading about a more peppy version of my sister. I loved every word of this novel!

Evie is funny and quirky. Even though she hasn't had much of a social life, ever. She stands out in crowds and can talk to anyone or anything. Her mermaid of a best friend is wonderful and so bleepin' hilarious.

And Lend, oh beautiful, mysterious, funny, sweet Lend. How I fell in love with you so quickly. And, I'm sure everyone will also! I love the meeting between Evie and Lend. I love their first encounter afterwards. I can't wait to read the rest of this series.
